We recommend turning the item inside out before washing woolen/silk products by hand. Machine washing is best done on a cold 20 degree machine wool programme although this can lead to some shrinkage. When drying we recommend drying the out of direct sunlight by laying the item flat and avoid radiators. A compromise for drying may be to rest the garment as flat as possible on a laundry airer.

The items they produce are made entirely by hand from New Zealand wool.
They were originally established in 1983 to help the local Pode community of street sweepers who were disadvantaged by the caste system that and now denied them education and employment opportunities and now offers educational and vocational training supporting the needs of low-income families throughout Nepal. They have also opened a childcare project for street cleaners’ children, provide adult literacy classes, a nutrition and health clinic and provide an immunisation programme.
